The Global Learning and Innovations Center (GLIC) is an educational and community-focused organization founded on the belief that purposeful education transforms lives, strengthens institutions, and uplifts communities. GLIC was established on the conviction that thoughtful strategic planning, high-quality instruction, and meaningful collaboration are essential to addressing learners’ diverse academic, leadership, and developmental needs in an ever-changing global society.
At GLIC, education is approached as both a discipline and a mission. Through intentional program design, continuous reflection, and systematic evaluation of teaching and learning practices, the Center aligns instruction with its mission and vision to promote student success, institutional growth, and long-term impact. GLIC emphasizes evidence-based practices, culturally responsive teaching, and learner-centered approaches that honor the unique backgrounds, experiences, and aspirations of those it serves.
Leadership at GLIC views education not merely as a profession, but as a calling—one that requires clarity of purpose, high standards, ethical responsibility, and a deep commitment to equity and excellence. The Center is guided by a leadership philosophy that values service, accountability, innovation, and collaboration, recognizing that sustainable educational change occurs when leaders, educators, families, and communities work together toward shared goals. Through intentional coaching and mentoring, GLIC members develop inclusive, diverse, and cross-cultural leadership practices and cultivate global perspectives that prepare them to lead effectively in interconnected contexts.
At its core, GLIC fosters a supportive and inclusive academic environment where students, educators, families, small-group church leaders, business leaders, and community partners engage in purposeful learning and shared responsibility. The Center provides high-quality educational experiences across multiple disciplines, including mathematics, science, and English, as well as English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) programs for adults. In addition, GLIC equips emerging and established leaders to become more effective across cultures, strengthening their capacity to lead with understanding, responsibility, and impact. GLIC also supports pathways to high school completion, GED attainment, post-secondary preparation, and lifelong learning.
